The Concept

I want to run the Leadville Trail Marathon.

Is that crazy? Yes. Improbable? Absolutely. Foolish? I think so.

Then why?

That's the subject of this blog - the story of one flatlander (me) and my pursuit of running one of the most badass marathons in the US. Thank you for reading.

The search and rescue team spent all week trying to find the flatlanders that tried to bag the fourteener with half a liter of water and a candy bar.
